My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

Hi!

my hair is THICK! and to tame it, I straighten my hair with a kind of cheap straightner...Conair...but it stays for one day and then curls again and turns greasy.

So, next week I have dress rehearsals and shows for the musical and I would like to wear my hair down with my dress. I do not want to use ANY products, but would like to keep straight, non-greasy hair.

So what do I do to accomplish this hard task? :)

Thanks soo much

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

i have evil thick and poofy hair too thats hard to deal with. I used to use conair and it did a very bad job, so if you can, get a better straightener. I use a karmin titanium and its very good (i bought it for $60). The best straighteners are sedu, CHI, ghd, but these are expensive and you might not be able to get it before your rehearsal. Maybe one of your friends has a better one? Also, put it on high heat and use a heat protectant so that it stays straight and doesnt burn your hair. I know you dont want to use hair products, but they really help to make your hair stay lookng good and stops it from poofing out (if you have this problem). Also, to help with the greasy hair problem, put a little bit of baby powder in your hand and rub it in your hair. It sounds weird, but it really works and you cant see it. Good luck on your musical!! My school is doing Grease :)

oops one more thing. It will really help if you get your hair layered and thinned. I did this and it looks so much better when i straighten it and its also a lot easier to straighten.

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

to help with the greasyness add some lemon juice to your shampoo and your best off buying a better straightener in the future. i also dont like to use many products in my hair but you do need to buy a heat protectant spray sometime because your hair WILL get fried. i use treseme and it cost 4 dollars.

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

get a lot of layers to reduce the thickness or even side bangs. thats a hard task go to a beauty hair salon and ask for tips that what i did. it really helps.

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

I probably have thicker hair than you.

mine is AMAZINGLY thick

I takes hours to straighten at 240oc!

Which is very hot!

You need to get better straighteners

Get the highest you can.

Every girl has to spend on herself

Mine cost about 鎷?0

And they have lasted me

And another tip:

Use moose or hairspray

And when you just put that in straighten it.

Then brush it

Best wishes

xox

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

i agree with Lianne, your hair will fry and you get split ends....i also use tresemme before i straighten my hair and from my experience its the best stuff to use. i use garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner (its the green bottle) , and i really think its the best for your hair. it really cleans it well, getting rid of all the oil, and it makes your hair shiny and frizz free, it also helps your hair stay straight longer....you should definetly get some.

My hair has BIG problems. Straightening tips?

Well, I definately advise that you invest in a quality straightener if you can afford it. I am a GHD girl and trust me, they are so worth the money. They are amazing, I have had mine for 4 yrs now and it is a total godsend. But if I have an occasion where I want my hair to straight with no fuss, I go to my salon for a blow dry and straighten. It lasts for ages and I wash my own hair before going in to save money, I have really long hair and they charge me like $20 and it lasts for like 5 days. Oh and tea tree shampoo is excellent for oily hair, it really balances it out without hurting your ends like other products can. Goodluck in your musical

Help.......Big lips?

Are lips glosses the best thing to wear for big lips??? I usually wear glosses in pinks because I was told it matches better with blond hair and blue eyes.

I would like to try some darker colours, can I ??? :)

Help.......Big lips?

Yeah lip gloss are better for people with very full lips. Pink is a very nice shade. You said you wanted to try darker shades? Well......it depends on how dark you want to go. you can try warm shades like in brown or reddish brown but not too dark though. Plum is also a nice shade or caramel, or chocolate. You can ask a cosmetologist this question when you go to buy your lip gloss. I hope you find the shades that suit you.Forget about those rude remarks from those guys and that girl (the pers閳?who said that you should stay away from lip gloss they have nothing on you. I wouldn't say you have big lips, I rather say you have very full lips. Don't be afraid to experiment just go for the ones you feel comfortable with, ok. Most of these little tarts will go and spend money to enhance their lips, while you honey have the real deal.

Just one thing don't over do it.Be cautious of the amount you add to your lips.

Help.......Big lips?

wow so dont wear lip glosses they make them BIGGER more like ENORMOUS!!!! lol

Help.......Big lips?

u could but pink does go with blond gurls...

Help.......Big lips?

sorry monkey chops i cant help you

Help.......Big lips?

lol you men are unbelievable

Help.......Big lips?

Yes, totally go for it, and try to ignore the fellatio related answers from men, I've got prominent lips too, and don't be afraid to experiment with reds, purples, and darker pinks. It can actually really enhance your lips and even make them appear smaller [if that's what you're going for]. Anyway, just go to your local super market and get some CoverGirl lipgloss in reds, or dark pinks. If you like the way it looks, you can try going into lipstick for a more concentrated color, happy hunting!

Help.......Big lips?

pink,nude,gold,lavendar...are all good. And don't worry about the syupid guys...big lips are beautiful. Flaunt them!

Help.......Big lips?

big lips are nice.

Help.......Big lips?

if you want your lips to look bigger then yes gloss is good, and pale pink would make them look bigger too, dark lip colour always looks bad (dark brown/purple etc) but if you mean like dark pinks and reds, yes this would look good, but it wont make your lips look bigger.

if they are very large naturally, gloss can look a bit over the top and it makes your lips look bloody massive and all out of proportion. stick with matt colours if your doing pale lip colour. you would look good in dark pinks and red (gloss or matt)because they draw attention to your nice big lips but dont make them look massive.

Help.......Big lips?

totally! a good idea would be to line your lips, just on inside of your lip line with a slightly darker liner. :)

Help.......Big lips?

whatever you do dont use lip plumper, your lips will look even bigger your lips are big? flaunt them!.

Help.......Big lips?

putting on gloss will cause attention to the area.u should wear lipchap .it'll look wayyyy better

Help.......Big lips?

Pout lip plumps are brilliant can get them in different colours aswell

Help.......Big lips?

Yes, I think darker is okay - but not all the time, just for a special look or occasion - I personally also have huge lips.. and I dont usually wear any color - just a gloss.. because when I do wear darker colors you can see my lips from a mile away! lol - but I do like the look.. if you are bold and confident enough, kudos to ya ! :)

Help.......Big lips?

I WISH I had fuller lips! Some people would kill to have lips like that. I can tell you what some of my friends will do: *

*Glosses are fine but stick to flesh toned or clear gloss. Anything to bright is just too outrageous.

*Creamy glosses are good too. Experiment with using a creamy liquid gloss (a neutral or low tone color) without using lipliner.

*As far as lipstick is concerned, you can wear dark colors but make sure the lipstick has a matte texture as opposed to a glossy texture.

Have fun!

Help.......Big lips?

hey big lips r cool!and beautyful!!!u lucky gurl!!!

dont use a lipgloss though try to wear darker reds and pinks in a lipstick which will make them appear smaller!

dont give a peanut what them idiots said!!!

BIG LIPS ARE FUNKY!!!!!!

:D

ps maybe try 1 frm covergirl or boots natural collection.

;)

Help.......Big lips?

I have big lips too and i wear lipstick cause lip gloss annoys me.

for daytime, i usually stick to light brown/neutral tones (NO PINKS!!)

Nighttime, it depends, something more red looks good for the OMG! she has gorgeous lips factor, or a slightly darker neutral shade. But then again i have blue eyes and brown hair, can't guarantee it would work on blonde hair. Why don't you 'borrow' some of your mates or mum's lipstick and try out a few different shades?

Help.......Big lips?

Yes, you can try other colors. I have an applicator stick you can use if you need one.

Help.......Big lips?

some girls would kill for big lip be proud use what you think looks best you will no if a colour is too dark

Help.......Big lips?

Yes go for it!! Think like Angelina Jolie and pout like you've never pouted before!!!! Big lips are fabulous! x

Help.......Big lips?

you need a creamy lipgloss that makes your lips salty...I mean shiny. Here, I have a rather large applicator here you can put it on with. Be gentle Thanks ;)

Help.......Big lips?

big lips eh??? come to papa!!!

Help.......Big lips?

Your lips are beneficial... ummm

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, & later to mall?

And, then you're supposed to go to a big dress up party at 7 that evening, do you rewash and fix your hair?, Brush, fix and respray your hair? Or just leave the wild mess?

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

Just fix your hair, have fun at the party!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

just fix it. it shouldn't need to be rewashed.

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

NO!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

fix ur hair then go 2 the party and have a BLAST!

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

the wild mess is best

If you washed your hair in the a.m., went outside with kids, %26amp; later to mall?

Just brush, fix and respray. It will probably be easier to fix that way rather than rewash anyway.

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

My sister did this to me when I was 11 or something, she put lemon juice in my hair (straight from the lemon) and put it through my hair, she put a fair amount. She made me sit outside for 20 mins or something and I noticed a big difference, my hair got lighter.

Will this work now too? I don't want to ruin my hair... but since it's natural it can't be all that bad , can it? I just don't want to dye my hair since I like the tone and it's a very nice colour but I just want to lighten it a bit, make it look beachy and summery, as my hair usually gets lighter byt his time of year but because I'm in a new place this year it hasn't gotten lighter yet.

Good idea?

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

This will still work on your hair, and I don't think that it will damage your hair in any way either. Lemon juice is a natural cleanser for hair because it strips your hair of the impurities on the outside and lightens it up quite a bit. The exposure to the sun just speeds up the process of making your hair lighter.

Doing this may make your hair feel dry afterward, so be sure to use a good conditioner after the lemon juice treatment.

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

hair doesn't change color depending on the season...lemon juice is just an astringent that has a ph of 2.5 or so it can close a cuticle so as a rinse it works...truthfully it wasn't the lemon that lightened ur hair it was the sun

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

yes,i tink so

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

well what color is your hair? Im brunette and did this and my hair turned so red it looked orange. It also got very dry. Had to cut it. I would try alittle and only for a like 15-20 mins outside.

Lemon juice in hair for lighter hair... question!?

I did it too when I was younger with my friend,

Both are hair turned light blond and She was brunette and It turned her hair blond..

But when We told her grandma that's what we did she was telling us that the lemon juice is really strong and acidic and can really dry and fry your hair...

You Might also want to consider "Sun in" Or " A touch of Sun"

Both are lightening sprays you can buy at walgreens or wherever..

Hair Question! Plz help thanks!?

I want to get this haircut, but I'm afraid that it won't suit me. I'm not just 'trying to fit in' or 'be emo' or 'scene'. No-one else that I know likes the clothes and hairstyles etc that I like. I guess because I live in Portugal, and that type of stuff isn't big here. I'm being myself, not punk or goth or emo or whatever, thanks. I love this hairstyle. Anyway, I know that loads of people hate this hairstyle, but don't say that, cuz that's not what I want to know... I want to know if the haircut would look okay on me? Thanks!

Haircut I want (girl in the middle):

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

hello everyone, another question for you all,my hair is falling out. i used to have really thick curly hair, everytime i wash it or even put my fingers through it, it keeps coming out! i had bath tonight,%26amp;a whole hand full has come out(like a big ball of hair) i can see the root balls on the end of my hair,so i know its not breaking off. my father who passed away 6 years ago now(god rest his soul)had alopecia a year before he died at 39. he lost all his hair from stress. im not sure wether this can be genetic?? but i am really worried, will go doctors tomorrow, get blood tests done but if it is falling out is there much they can do about it as nothing stopped my dad's from falling out. im only 22 have been worrying alot over the summer and recently have been stressed and lost alot of weight. if anyone can give me advice on this one it would be much appriciated

thank you

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

To avoid hair loss and have good healthy hair, a good nutritional diet is needed. This diet needs to be rich in organic whole foods such as fruit, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, nuts and seeds which are a rich

In recent times, hair loss has become a common condition, especially among men although, the exact cause of hair loss is still a mystery. Some research studies have linked hair loss with the lack of iron, the condition of the skin on the scalp, an excess of the hormone DHT and probably an under active thyroid gland.

The hair, although it is thought of as dead, is a good indicator of general health and it is the first indicator that shows signs of ill health or lack of essential vitamins and minerals within the body. Oily hair can be a sign of vitamin B deficiency, brittle or dry hair can be an indicator of essential fats deficiency, dull hair color and poor growth can be signs of zinc deficiency and hair loss can be an indicator of lack of vitamin C, vitamin B1, iron and lysine

source of vital nutrients needed for healthy hair roots and the protein keratin. Try not to skip meals, reduce salt, sugar, tea, coffee and chocolate intake, avoid stress, comb your hair gently and avoid using strong chemicals on your hair such as perms and color treatments. Vegetarians are prone to hair loss because their diet generally lacks the important nutrients, vitamin B12, iron and lysine. Vegetarians need to be aware of this and supplement their diet.

The following supplements may help if you are suffering from hair loss.

B complex

Evening primrose oil

Fish oil

Kelp

Lysine

Multivitamins and multiminerals

Vitamin c

I hope it helps you, it can be hormonal related problem too. Progesterone cream its very good too.

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

Go and see the GP and see what he/she ays. If it is true alopecia then you ant do anything to stop the hair falling out. Usually it does grow back though xx

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

Stress is the main cause, also having low iron ie: anemia can cause it. I lost alot of hair, it thinned right out due to having very low iron levels in my blood. Doctor should rule out alopecia, Even if you think you aren't stressed, your body has strange ways of dealing and showing it! Good luck, I'm sure it's nothing serious.

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

Stress???

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

After my mom passed over I started losing a lot of hair. Then again when I was living in a really stressful situation, it happened again. So, nerves %26amp; emotions can play a part in hair loss. I went to my dermatologist who prescribed a thin, clear lotion to apply. It really helped. If you lost a lot of weight you may not have been getting enough nutrients for your hair. Call %26amp; ask your general physician first and see what he/she suggests. There are hair nutrients you can buy at the health food store, too. I know it's hard to do, but try to stay calm.

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

Although it is probably the hardest thing to do, you need to stop worrying about it. Make an appointment to see your GP and s/he will recommend a course of action one of which may be to refer you to a trichologist (hair specialist). In the meanwhile, practise everything you know about stress-reduction techniques and eat properly taking in plenty of B vitamins; brewer's yeast (powder form from your local health store) sprinkled on your cereals or mixed with some fruit juice will help.

The same thing happened to my mum and she read up on building up her diet to prevent further loss and promote growth. If you can order this book through your library or get a copy of it otherwise, I'd recommend the section on how to tackle the problem.

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

Are you eating a sensible diet? Are you eating enough?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then i would say its stress related.

Take up yoga, it works wonders for stress!

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

it sounds like it could be stress making your hair fall out,and the more you stress over it the worse it will become,my hair falls out loads ,i used to worry all the time and ended up with a small bald patch,my doctor told me the more i stressed would in turn make more hair fall out, mine still falls out now and then but i tend not to worry about it too much and it does seem to help, but if aloppecia runs in the family then it is good you are getting tested, but for now try not to stress/worry ovewr it as it is a vicious cirle.

My hair falling out... im 22!!!?

I am pleased you are going to see the doctor. You do sound stressed out somehow, that causes hair loss.

Hair color, HELP.?

So, my hair is this Blondish color but it is starting to turn this color its yellowish, sandy color... Im not a big fan of it, So what color should i dye it to?

Hair color, HELP.?

Since your hair is already blonde maybe try auburn???

Hair color, HELP.?

maybe you should die it a dark brown.

Hair color, HELP.?

i like dark brown, almost black...

Hair color, HELP.?

I like red-heads myself. There is something mysterious about a red-headed woman.

Hair color, HELP.?

light brown. it won't be a dramatic change, but will look way better.

Hair color, HELP.?

Yeah, you should go dark brown.

Hair color, HELP.?

Try a chocolate brown, its really in style right now.

Or if you want it to be blonde still get it proffesionaly died and buy SILVER shampoo and wash your hair with that.

Hair color, HELP.?

black

Hair color, HELP.?

Maybe a Pretty durty blondeish brown color

Hair color, HELP.?

idk its your choice how bout brown black or light red

Hair color, HELP.?

What's your skin color? I think it just helps when you color your hair something that makes your skin looked warmed up, instead of washed out.

That's why they have the coloring guides though on hair dyes. As in cool and warm.

Hair color, HELP.?

darker//

Hair color, HELP.?

black with a few streaks of pink in front of blue.

Hair color, HELP.?

u should dye it a light brown ^^

Hair color, HELP.?

Brown would look good because its not to far from blond and it usually looks very nice...:)

Hair color, HELP.?

I'd go platinum blond! But of course it really depends on your skin tone %26amp; eye color to really know what color is best.

Hair color, HELP.?

i think you should go to a professional salon. they'll have the best advice because they can find the perfect most natural looking shade for yourself.

Hair color, HELP.?

hey dont die it i have the color ull luv i hope, its yellow? die it like a white blond and put brown streaks in it.

Hair color, HELP.?

my favorite hair color is dirty blonde. try that!!

Hair color, HELP.?

Add highlights to it. It will bring out the color without having to make it a totally different color... and what if you hate the color that you dye your hair!?!?!? It will take forever to change back to normal.

Hair color, HELP.?

I saw a 3 tone over the counter hair color. That would look the most natural and you can do it yourself. Try to stay in the same color family as your natural hair color because of your skin coloring.

Hair color, HELP.?

Maybe a light brown...but def. not brunette..unless it looks good on you.=]閳?br>Hair color, HELP.?

Light brown!!That will look nice!

Hair color, HELP.?

Well, it depends on the outcome.

If you want like a diva look try Dark Black.

If you want to stand out try Red.

If you want to be causual try brown.

Good Luck!

Hair color, HELP.?

Dark brown with highlights flatters most skin tones

Try a dark red if you want to be noticed!

Hair color, HELP.?

Try a light brown or reddish color!

Hair color, HELP.?

Put some highlights in it, Herbal essense is great- The one that comes out blue on your hair so you can see where the streaks are going to be and it comes with a comb to do it- It will give you alot of mix pretty colors! Good Luck ;)

Hair color, HELP.?

i vote a dark brown. thats what happened to my hair a couple months ago and i dyed it dark brown and i lovee it! its the first time i ever dyed my hair tooo. [=

Hair color, HELP.?

well since you already have blonde hair maybe something that is brown and copper would be cute, it's also a trend that is approaching...

Hair color, HELP.?

Well it depends on your skin tone and eye color.

If your eyes are light and your skin is fair or olive colored for example, try a dark brown

Or if you have medium-tan skin and dark eyes you could try light brown or even black (black hair looks great with light or dark eyes)

hope this helped!

Hair color, HELP.?

Your hair is turning a sandy blonde because if you've been in the sun it lightens the dye color in your hair. That is what happens to pretty much any color that you dye your hair.

Black=Dark brown

Dark brown=Lighter brown

Red=Auburn

Blonde=Light/Sandy Blonde

So many times after awhile you just have to re-visit your hair dresser and have her dye your hair a darker Blonde over the sandy Blonde highlights. This will give your hair the Blondie effect again that your looking for. You should go back every few months to have this process re-done because unfortunately the sun lightens are hair: Natural or colored.

If your not looking to stay blonde you could add light brown high lights, which will no longer give you that blonde look b/c the brown will instantly darken your hair. You could also add a little auburn in, or even dye your hair a honey comb brown. A gorgeous color that is dirty blonde: It gives almost a blonde and brown effect.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I have a grey paint/pinto and she has black thick hair. I know how to make her tail grow faster by braiding the bottom to make it heavier and not break as much and I has really worked. But then I tried it to her forlock because it was short and she was rubbing it off. I left the braid in for a day, took it out the next and two big chunks of hair came out. Now that showing season is coming around and her fore-lock isn't growing at all! I need some help out there, this is the only down side to my cute little horsie and I can't seem to find a solution to this problem. I did hear that something like brushing their hair can stimulate its growth or something like that but I'm not sure. Can anyone give me some insight here?

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The first thing I would do is NOT brush your horse's hair every day. Brushing your horses hair is fine maybe once every two or three days, but brushing too much can often result in breaking the hair and pulling it out, rather than stimulating it to grow faster. Also, try to avoid turning your horse out with its mane, tail, or forelock braided. Often the hair will get caught on fencing, brush, or other objects that could tear it out.

A friend of mine would put an Indian remedy called Neem Oil on her horse's hair, and it seemed to help, but I'm not sure where she got it and I've since moved barns and don't keep in contact with her anymore. I've heard that almond oil works well also.

One fourth a clove of garlic (finely chopped) in your horse's feed should help to keep it shiny, and I've heard that it also helps it to grow though it may just be a rumor.

There is also a brand of shampoo from Garnier Fructice that I put on my Quarter Horse gelding's mane and tail when I got him (his former owner had trimmed his mane and tail very very short). It seemed to help it grow faster, in only one month his mane went from about four inches long to about seven inches. The shampoo and conditioner is called Garnier Fructice Long %26amp; Strong, and you should be able to get it from your local wal-mart or other department store.

I hope I helped, good luck with showing this year. :)

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

Alot of people swear by MTG,

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

You cannot make its hair grow any faster no matter what you do...........

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I don't know about making her forelock grow any faster, however perhaps conditioning it and brushing it routinely will help strengthen and stimulate it.

If this, or anything else, doesn't work in time for showing, and her forelock is still ratty/disfunctional, perhaps just incorperating it into her shaved bridle path would work. I don't know how bad it is, but if it falling apart, shaving might be the solution to let the hair grow back fresh later.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The more you brush it the thinner it will get. Ditto to plaiting it!

The forelock is often thin and slow growing and I have never found anything other than time cures it. When I had driving horses I used to 'borrow' a little extra hair from a matching mane or tail and fix it under the forelock for a show.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I would recommend getting some Shapely's MTG (Mane-Tail-Groom) and follow the directions on the bottle. Just clean the forelock and "scalp" (crest) with a sponge in warm water with a squirt of baby oil in the water. If the forelock does get tangled use your fingers to pick out each hair instead of brushing or combing it. If the follicles of the forelock are itchy spray on a mixture of Listerine and Avon skin so soft (50/50) on the follicle itself not the actual forelock to kill anything that might be making it itchy and to condition the scalp. Just give it some time and try not to mess with it too much and it should grow. If it doesn閳ユ獩 grow in a few months sadly your pony might be going thin in at area.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

Don't brush it. I don't brush my horse's mane unless they are tangled. Brushing breaks the hair.

I also use MTG every time I'm at the barn, on both of their manes. My horse's mane has grown about 4 inches and doubled in thickness in the 3 months I've been using it regularly.

It works for a bunch of other things too.

http://shapleys.com/products_view.aspx?a...

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

A product called M.T.G. by Shapley's. It's so good, humans use it on themselves.

Has such a following the company has expanded it's line to include people products. I'll tell you right up front that there's an issue with the odor.

You'd think that working around horses, there wouldn't be many finicky noses. It's NOT an unpleasant smell, kind of bacony-barbeque-y. I've used it on my mare who's a dedicated itch scratcher, mane stands up like a zebras' from being rubbed off.

Got myself a bottle of Shapley's; itch stopped; hair is growing!

It was invented by a barber back in the 1920's-30's and it's still here 'cuz it works. Read directions and follow them. Good luck.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

The only thing that I have found to work is good old Biotin added into the feeds - this promotes hair growth and hoof health and we use it for my daughter's pony who suffers with sweet itch and was constantly scratching his mane and tail off.

Also you can add oil to the feed for a good shine.

Brushing it won't help - it will just cause more breakage.

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

yes, MTG works like a miracle.........

How Do I Make My Horse's Hair Grow Faster?

I don't think there is a way, like you can't make human hair grow faster. Though brushing it and taking good care of the horse is the right key.

Volume hair?

whats the best way to get BIG BIG BIG volume in hair? I have pretty thick hair, but its reallly layered . Its soft and not damaged at all and also the longest layer is halfway down my back, but the shorter layers are very short.

Volume hair?

add moouse, blow dry upside down

Volume hair?

blow dry and brush hair up side down and you can brush ur hair while brlow drying to help more. if ur hair is greasy looking but dont have time for shower then mix baby powder and water and run sum through ur hair

Volume hair?

tease and hairspray at the roots and cover up with the top layer so it doesn't look like a rat's nest. blow dry using products that say "root booster" or other such ones. using Velcro rollers or other LARGE ones at the roots on damp hair help. Plus blow-dry with mousse that is something like Volume XXL, Garnier works well. just coat the roots on damp hair and flip it upside down to blow dry, or take a comb or brush and hold up a piece at a time concentrating heat at the root. tease tease tease for real volume

Volume hair?

flip your hair forward and blow dry the roots till its dry then add a Little volume moose Aussie is the best if you don't wanna spend money tho you can just use hair spray or gel you can even just flip it and brush it while its dry

How can i make my hair stay straight even if i sweat?

im a dancer, and i take a 100 minute dance class first thing in the morning. i go to school and my hair looks nice but after dance i look terrible. i have curly hair but its short so i straighten it, and when i sweat it gets relly big and frizzy. how can i keep it nice throughout the day.

How can i make my hair stay straight even if i sweat?

i use to have this problem with one of my classes at school(marching band/ colorguard) what i did to fix it was when i wash my hair that night / morning i would put a hair serum or an anti frizz serum / spray it works that same as protecting your hair from the humidity in the air as when your body produces the humidity when you sweet...... hope this helps

Has anyone used colored hair glaze?

specifically the one for red hair? i dye my hair deep auburn and want to bring out the red so i was thinking of using a glaze cuz i want my hair to be extra shiny for a wedding im going to on saturday. does it really enhance the red tones? i would prefer not to use the john frieda ones if possible cuz im not a big fan of the products and i can NOT go to a salon and get it done..it has to be something i can get at walmart/walgreens/cvs or sally beauty...thanks

Has anyone used colored hair glaze?

well there are john frieda glaze at wal-mart that i got, unless you dont want to get it. I use john frieda glaze, i use the autumn to maple and it starts to change in about 2 weeks. It actually does work, it is awesome, you should try it. = ]閳?br>Has anyone used colored hair glaze?

How do i get my hair good?

does anyone know how to get my hair good. like my hair is really thick and i have to go swimming for P.E. and so then my hair gets really frizzy and there is a really big wave in the middle!!! anyone know a quick fix for me?!?? (i have pe 1st hour so if i swim my hair is bad for the whole day!!)

How do i get my hair good?

Can you wear a swimming cap to protect it from getting wet and messy?

If not, you really do need to shampoo and condition your hair immediately after you swim. The chlorine can be very damaging to your hair, if it is left in all day long, every day.

If you don't have much time to style it, wash, condition, and put it up in a cute braid, french twist, etc.

How do i get my hair good?

Buy a bottle of Sebastian Potion 9. Take it to school with you, keep it in your locker. After you wash out all the chlorine, make sure your hair is damp and then apply some of the potion. Let it work its magic for you, and VOILA!

How do i get my hair good?

get an anti frizz serum like

How do i get my hair good?

you can try using a really good leave in conditioner, that might help or i know catwalk has a product out called 'camera ready' which is suppossed to defrizz your hair, ive never tried it but i use a lot of other catwalk products and they work really well for me, you can probably go to any drug store and look for a product that will help to defrizz your hair. good luck!

How do i get my hair good?

you should buy something for your hair then get it off

What do you put in your hair to keep the big, soft curls in it when you roll and set?

I'm talking about those big rollers you can buy that you don't heat, you just put your hair up in them. I recently purchased some and am not quite sure how to use them. Please help.:)

What do you put in your hair to keep the big, soft curls in it when you roll and set?

Comb a good setting lotion through lightly towel dried hair before you set your entire head on jumbo sized rollers, and then let your hair "Air dry" can take a few hours depending on length of your hair, try to avoid using curling irons, heated rollers and hooded dryers as they all can cause heat damage,

use organic based shampoos and conditioners for your hair to stop chemical build up

Note large jumbo rollers normally give your hair body and wave, if you want to achieve curls depending on hair length you should use medium sized rollers 11/2" - 2" diameter

What do you put in your hair to keep the big, soft curls in it when you roll and set?

You can use a moisturizer such as pink oil and/or setting lotion. Apply to damp hair, roll up %26amp; allow to dry.

What do you put in your hair to keep the big, soft curls in it when you roll and set?

Try setting your hair when it's semi- dry. ( atleast 85% dry or more) Spray lightly with mouse in an aerosal or spray gel. wait a couple hours before taking them out. if you want to speed up the process using heat helps.

What do you put in your hair to keep the big, soft curls in it when you roll and set?

I start with the top ( that's your guide) and roll up my hair using bobby pins to hold them in place. I roll my hair all over nightly using 45 large magnetic rollers. I wet set my hair every two weeks with Lotta Body Setting Lotion and Mane 'N Tail Carrot Oil Cream. Roll side ways for Spiral curls, Roll under and only at the ends for loose, bouncy curls,

For those who are good with curling hair with a straightener...?

I have a 2" flat iron and my curls usually turn out something like this (ignore the length):

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/gallery...

Basically kind of big and bulky and curls inwards.

But I wanted to know if anyone knows how to get curls that look more like this, looser and doesn't have that curled/rolled look:

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/gallery...

or

(minus the gel/spray) http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/gallery...

I know it's possible with my straightener because it came out like that by accident only once, on just one piece of hair. I have no idea what I did though.

For those who are good with curling hair with a straightener...?

To be honest I don't know how to obtain that with a straightener but you can get a look like that by using product. When your hair is wet put in gel and moose and scrunch your hair with a wet cloth. for tighter curls scrunch a lot for looser curls like you want scrunch less and play with it a little with your hands

For those who are good with curling hair with a straightener...?

A loose spiral perm will do it. Otherwise mousse or gel is neccessary I think. Good Luck

For those who are good with curling hair with a straightener...?

its easy

1) take some of your hair place the strightner right at the top of the hair( root )

2)place the strightner horizontally

3)hold the end of the hair(the tip)

4) move the strightner down slowly dont let go of the tip of the hair..... (the slower you move the tighter the curl )

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

i have thick wavy poofy frizzy layered hair. i want some ideas on how to style it. i wear it down al ot but by the end of the day its all poofy and in my face and big. when i put it up i like it but i have lots of fly aways so when i put my hair up the fly ways stick up and i look like a lion. does anyone have some simple hair ideas [besides straightening] that i could use? pics would help. thanks

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

I know exactly what you are going through. I go through it every day. I found that Dove has some great products for curly hair, They have a friz serum, a friz cream, curl defining mouse and a gel for curly hair. I use all of them in my hair. It boosts my curls up without the frizz. And it doesn't feel heavy and weighed down. I use the Aussie brand extra moisturising shampoo and coniditioner too, that makes my hair soft and also helps with the puff ball. Good luck. and don't blow dry your hair, let it air dry and DON"T USE A STRIAGHTNER OFTEN!!! It can dry out your hair and cause damage.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

On the cheap, the John Frieda (red, blonde or brunette) line is good..

On the expensive, the Aveda line is great too

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

do you wear it curly when its down? If you do use Panteen curl defining mousse

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

hair straightner!!!! Use it, it helps ALOT. I have kinda the same issue. You could even not wash your hair for like 2-3 days after you straighten in and it should calm down.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

if you have flyaways when you put your hair up try putting a smoothing pomade in your hand and using a makeup brush to put the pomade on and smoothe your flyaways down, if your hair is big and poofy dont blowdry, use leave in creme conditioner and if you like the wavy look you might want to try putting your hair in 2 big braids (one on each side of head either top %26amp; bottom or left %26amp; right personally i put my hair in one braid on top and one braid with the bottom hair) do this when your hair is wet, like after a shower and after applying a leave in creme conditioner, the reason your hair is probably big and poofy is because it is full of split ends, or dry and damaged. try to avoid washing your hair everyday for this will get rid of all of your natural oils that your hair needs to stay shiny and healthy. as far as hair products go i would recommend the new Sunsilk products, i think the blue bottle is for split ends and the pink is for dry damaged hair. they work absolutley wonderful.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

if you don't wash it for a few days it helps minimize the poof and frizz.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

Try Herbal Essatnces and find the one tht suits you. I love tht shampoo!! and it does wonder for your hair. i used it and i love my hair. Or you can go to a hair salon and yous the shampoos they have or have a hairdresser deisgn your hair.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

There is a product by Pantene, that would solve your problem, Walmart carries a great line of Pantene for every hair type.

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

Don't fight what is natural!!!!!

I have biracial hair so I have the same problems as you

Get it cut in nice layers so it will not all clump togather at ends

USe a good conditioner, salon quality if possible. I like Joico silk therapy line. Paul mitchell is good too.

When wet use Wella detangler (found at any beauty supply store) or any leave in conditioner that is liquid based.Joico Kpax is ok too

Then this is the REAL key, use Bed Head Control freak serum! This stuff is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!And lay around with the amounts...don't be afraid to use a lot. it is expensive but it works miracles!

I then sometimes use a dufusser on the end of a hair dryer if I want that realy styled look. other wise I let it air dry not messing with it once it strarts to dry! That is important!!! pet the control freak in it and leave it alone!!!!

This should help you!

if nothing else get it layered really well and then use the bedhead control freak!!!

PS they used to say I had an afro in middle school and laugh at my hair. Now girls come up to me and ask me how do i get my hair like that!!! And it is pretty much natural!! It looks like the older daughter on the show me my wife and kids now!!! or how Toni braxton wears her curly weave.......

Thick poofy frizzy wavy hair?!?!?

I have the same kind of hair that you say you have (down to the haircut), so hopefully I can help. It's all in the products. Of course, I haven't actually seen your hair, so I can't guarentee anything. ;)

First - the only way I can get my hair to curl, and STAY that way, is by putting in a leave-in conditioner while my hair is still damp (but not soaking wet), scrunching, and then hairspraying it (in sections). Don't bother with curling irons. They'll just frizz you out even worse. I use the Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine leave-in conditioner, and Dove Hairspray.

Second - Does the straightening you mentioned actually work? If not, do you blow-dry your hair? If so, I'd suggest that you only blow-dry when in a hurry, and even then use the cold air option. Otherwise, just let it air-dry, and then straighten it. A lot of people say that blow-drying it straight will make it better, but if your hair is already frizzy, then it's just going to make it frizzier, and create more flyaways when you straighten.

Speaking of flyaways - spray some hairspray over them, and run a fine tooth comb over the spot you sprayed while it's still wet. That way it dries in the position you want it in. As long as you don't mess with it later (i.e., running hands through it), it should be fine.

Hope that helps!

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Ok so I have really curly, frizzy multi-racial hair. My stylist suggested I blowdry my hair b4 I use a flat iron cuz it would make it easier to straighten. So i bought a big paddlebrush, and a blowdryer. I blew it out when it was dry (my mom said i should), put some Garnie Fructise Sleek n Shine serum in it and then flat ironed it. Problem is it came out really poofy. It looked great but it wouldnt move cuz it was so poofy n stiff. What am I doing wrong?!

Oh btw product suggestions would help great!

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

blow dry it using a straightening cream, balm, etc when wet. Then on dry hair use a hot iron protection spray, i use matrix straight looks spray. sleek and shine is great for finishing your hair after straightening but i wouldn,t use it with my straighteners as it goes crispy. the best straightening cream i used was gum going straight or gum leave in blow dry milk.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

I have curly hair too. I always blow dry my hair right after I wash it. It does make it easier to straighten it. Try using the sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner too.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Don't put ANYTHING - let the natural oils of your hair work.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Hmm i wouldn't use a paddlebrush, it's lifting your roots up and the heat is sort of 'setting' them in place. try using a round brush with natural bristles and don't brush your hair up at your roots when drying. Put the brush under your hair and comb your hair from underneath, using the hairdryer to push the brush downwards. The natural bristles should reduce frizz and the different brush should stop the hair from going 'poofy'

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

maybe you should use hair products made especially for people of color. try using SoftSheen-Carson's smoothing balm.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Hi im a mobile hairdesser,12 13 years experiance,i would recomend gliss shampoo and conditioner, sell it in sainsburys for super drug, its for dry frizzy hair. Before you blowry your hair use a straightner gel, chales worthington, also sell this product in sainsburys, then use hair straigtners, you should then have lovely smooth hair, good luck.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

My hair is curly. Ive spent years trying to straighten it. What I do is shampoo it with a straightening shampoo, brush it out, blow dry it without a hair brush, and then straighten it with a hot iron in different sections. Now it stays straight all day!!

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

HOW ARE YOU BLOWDRYING YOUR HAIR WRONG?

FROM ......................................

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Since you have curly and fizzy hair, I suggest you blow dry your hair immediately after wash. However, leave your hair a little wet to avoid overdrying it. Apply some hair moisturising lotion on them and leave the the balance wetness of your hair to dry naturally.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

When you blow dry it use a heat styling spray. I use TRESemme Tressemme oooh la la. It is called Instant heat tamer and it's about 4 dollars at walmart. I spray it on my hair before I blow dry and then I make sure my roots are mostly dry and then I spray it on my dry hair again before I run the flat iron over it. When I am finished I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and just run it over my hair and wha la It is done. Also when I dry my hair I use a big round brush with boar hair bristles. Sometimes I spray the heat tamer on the brush and start at my roots when I flat iron it and run it down my hair with the iron behind it. It keeps from getting too much on your hair and keeps it from kinking up. I used to use a paddle brush, but it is no good for me. I have really curly and frizzy hair too! Also if let your hair dry naturally it cuts down on the frizz. And having a good flat iron works better than a $20 walmart one. I paid 100 for mine and it works really well.

Am I Blowdrying My Hair wrong?

Wear your hair in a towel for a while to absorb as much water as possible. Use a wide tooth comb and comb hair into place. Using the paddle brush, hold the dryer above your head and dry straight down while brushing down. Don't hold the brush under your hair (this create volume). Take your time drying. Drying to fast and wildly creates frizz. When all dry then use flat iron. Apply Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum.

Wash in wash out hair dyes?

Soooo, I'm going to a really big gig in a couple of weeks, and I want to go black. Can anyone give me tips for brand, how to put it on, anything I should do to my hair before putting it in? I have quite dark brown hair -- should I bleach it first or something? Thanks in advance :D

Wash in wash out hair dyes?

No, there is no need to bleach your hair. Just put a really good deep moisturising conditioner in you hair, a couple of days before you dye it. Because good hair takes colour better. I love Revlon's hair dye, I dyed my hair about nine months ago, and haven't have to since.

Wash in wash out hair dyes?

you dont need to bleach it. the garnier fructis has a good black dye

Wash in wash out hair dyes?

i don't know whether a wash in wash out will give you the colour you want. they don't tend to be very strong. try a semi or permanent. 100% colour and live are good as they have stronger more unusual shades

Wash in wash out hair dyes?

uhh once you put black in your hair or any semi color hair color it never completly washes out because theres always a residue of it left on your hair. but i use beyond the zone pro formula color jamz when i do my bangs red and you can get them at sallys beauty supply. good luck

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

I have really thin hair. I hate it! It looks like it's dead or something. It's just so lifeless. How do I get big, bouncy, shiny hair? I've tried a million-one shampoos and conditioners! I've blowed dried my hair upside down! Nothing seems to work! SOMEBODY HELP! Thanks....

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

idk my hair is sooooooo thick i want it a little thinner

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

Get some biotin...it is a bottle of vitamins, usually runs about 7.00 at wal-mart. .. but it does take a month to start working.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

omg i had the same problem. i started using the dove volumizing shampoo and conditioner. in about 2 weeks you'll see a lot of changes in your hair it works great.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

Well, if shampoos and conditioners haven't worked than one of your only options is to spend a decent amount of money. You can go to a salon and get extensions. That can be very expensive though so, if you're looking for something cheaper, visit a beauty supply shop and try clip in extension pieces. They're expensive, but not as expensive as as going to a salon. Plus, they last longer. Have you tried Herbal Essences volumizing shampoo and conditioner? It worked great for me. A volumizing mousse wouldn't hurt either.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

i jsut bought bed head cocky it's a thickening paste for fuller thicker looking and feelin hair i havent tryed it but i will ons unday when i wash my hair it was 18 bucks at the salon where i got it from

Hair drama......plz help answer?

so i basically told the hairstylist exactly wat i wanted (silly me, she was asian and therefore only spoke a lil bit of english) and i even showed her a pic and she even started to make a big scene all because da pic was "too small".........n e wayz i wanted side swept bangs and she gave me straight side bangs but theyre kinda long wen straightened(if not straightened then their poofy) my question: do u think i should go to a better stylist and fix my bangs or should i grow them out a bit and then see a better stylist? Any HOME REMEDIES to help hair grow faster ? thnx!!!!!!!10 pts will b awarded!!!!!!!

Hair drama......plz help answer?

Go to a better stylist (preferably one that can speak english lol :p) and ask them for their opinion. Dont cut it just yet because what if its shorter and looks bad? then it takes ages to grow out. Ur better off going to a stylist and asking them how u can grow it out without it looking weird (i know cos i got front bangs recently, trying to grow em out and its a pain!)

to help hair grow faster, massage ur scalp when showering cos it stimulates the hair follicles.

Hope everything works out!

Hair drama......plz help answer?

change hairstyles..

Hair drama......plz help answer?

there is no way to make it grow overnight.

some of the tips that have been given to others with your same question or:

Massage scalp

Trim ends every 6 - 8 weeks

Drink 8 glasses of water per day

Use Mane N Tails Shampoo

Eat healthy

Take the pills to help your nails and hair grow faster

Sleep with satin pillowcases or a scarf on your head (so your

hair doesn't suffer damage while sleeping)

Don't wash hair every day,. just use conditioner some days(so it doesn't dry out)

Exercise - healthy person equals healthy hair

Don't brush wet hair

Braid hair at night

Deep condition hair every 2 weeks

I think those are all good tips and I have used a couple of them - but not faithfully. My hair is growing pretty fast because I prayed to God over it. Im a Christian. The other stuff doesn't hurt either.

Hair drama......plz help answer?

I recently bleached my hair way, way to much, that i ended up having to get it cut.

And I'm not keen on my short hair.

I was on Heavenly Hair (a forum about hair and alternative fashion). And someone said they had problems with their short hair so they bought:

Garnier Fructis Long %26amp; Strong Shampoo

Garnier Fructis Long %26amp; Strong Conditionoir

So I obviously i tired it. And as it has Vitamin B6 which helps hair growth (its has zinc etc). And on the bottom on of the bottle it says "difficult to grow hair". So that obviously made me put it in the shopping trolley :P

It really works. I've used it twice on my hair, and my hair has grown and least one centermetre and a half.

I also deep condiotion my hair for an hour or a 2, once a week. I put cling wrap or a hair cap then wrap a towel over it. And this heats up your head which lets the hair relax and so on.

I use:

Schwarzkopf Bona Cure Color Save Treatment.

Also, I recommend seeing a new hair stylist. Its best to stay with a hair stylist for as long as you can (if they're any good). I have and i've been going since i was 5 and I'm 16 now. So they would know what i'm up to with my hair.

Good luck [:

Oh yeah, do not use any vitamin tablets that are recommend for woman who are pregnant. Even though alot of people say on here, "it makes your hair grow faster!".

Are you willing to damage your kidneys and liver over this?

The vitamins are for 2 people. Not one.

So don't go there.

Ughh my hair!!?

please don't answer if you don't know..

thxx..

okay well as soon as i step out my house in humid or just hot weather, my hair gets alittle wavy when i straighten it. (i have curly hair) how can i make this stop. i've tried gel but it makes it like kinda big. what product works best?

thanks!

Ughh my hair!!?

its all in what you do before to prevent humid frizz or wave from happening. When you straighten your hair or apply any 400 degree hot iron flat iron before you walk out the door of your house you will always get a blah of frizz or wave. humdity is moisture in the air. You hair folicle after just being pressed down by heat (cooled to the touch) is still bubbled up from what you just did. So heres the advice hope you can catch on. If you want a sleek look (pressed flat iron look) start the night before. Flat iron it right before you go to bed and use a paul mitchell super skinny serum after you have pressed it. Now i know sum other cultural people(european caucasian white race) does not like sleeping with anything on their head at night but you have to sleep ith a slik scarf or either tie your hair wrap your hair somehow for this to work. All that happens when you go to sleep is how it will come out the next day. When you wake up you will see that it is still straight . Depending on how you sleep . If additional waves or tangles occur. Blow dry with round brush using a cool and low heat setting apply the paul mitchell or sum kind of frizz starighting serum from root to tip. if you hear or see humidity on the news weatherchn. Use a soft hair tie or clip and pull your hair very tight or use a slik scarf when walking outside to you car. when you get to your destination take off the hair accesories and keep a brush and frizz product with you. Dont touch your hair alot with your hands .:) so hope that works for you.

Ughh my hair!!?

Humid weather is really hard on hair products.. I've tried alot of different gels, hairsprays and mouse and nothing seems to help..

Ughh my hair!!?

OMG I have the exact same problem, if that happened i re straighten those wavy parts and stay away from huminity for about 10 minutes, then well for me it doesn't get wavy as much, try it and good luck! i'm also with Precious, she's right it is hard to manage it with any thing u put on!!

Ughh my hair!!?

before you flat iron use Artec Textureline Hotstyle Ironing Creme. another good product is CurlFriends Control Gel. Use Curlfriends Control Gel daily to calm your curls and keep out unwanted moisture when the air is humid. Eliminates frizz.Directions: Apply a dime-sized amount to palm of hands. If very humid use a quarter-sized amount. Rub into hands and massage into wet hair. Start at the ends and work up to roots. Comb through using a wide-toothed comb.

Ughh my hair!!?

AHH I have the same exact problem! i spent like an hour down at myrtle beach straighting my hair and walked out side! BAM!!! Frizz ball! anyway! at the mall where i live there is this stand. i cant remember the name of the stand! but the name of my straightener is sunshine girl, anyway when i bought it bought this stuff that you put on right before you straighten your hair and it takes away the frizz and everything! i love it works soo well...

here is the link for where you can order my straightener off line! they are worth it mine came with a lifetime warrenty!

Poofy hair problems.?

my hair is just a little longer than shoulder-length, and whenever i blowdry it, it always ends up big and poofy. is there a product that will stop it from acting up and not make it look greasy?

Poofy hair problems.?

yes, try john frieda's frizz ease product line.. they have a great shampoo called straight ahead shampoo %26amp; conditioner.. follow them with the frizz ease hair serum, and straight answer styling spray to keep your hair from gaining extra body when blow drying... keep in mind that your hair cut can also determine the amount of body and height you'll get...

http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/produ...

good luck!

Poofy hair problems.?

have u tryed the shampoo and conditioner matrix sleek look?

Poofy hair problems.?

sunsilk

redken

Poofy hair problems.?

Well, don't blow dry it or just use a straightening iron.

Poofy hair problems.?

thermasilk hair lotion

Poofy hair problems.?

Get a ceramic straightening iron or smoother- they work wonders. I had the same problem and I don't worry about it anymore.

Poofy hair problems.?

Dove. They are wonderful. I have naturally curly hair, I use their leave-in conditioner on the ends and a volumizing mousse (I spelled that like dessert didn't I?) at the roots. No greasy, no poofy.

Poofy hair problems.?

okay there is a john frieda product i use called frizz ease, however ONLY PUT IT AT THE ENDS OF YOUR HAIR when it is wet. not at the very ends but higher than that and comb it through with your fingers it will help, if not that use olive oil as a deep conditioning mask.

Poofy hair problems.?

I have the same exact problem, but i have a solution.

when my hair is damp, i spray "Shine Serium: By Big Sexy Hair.

it calms down my hair, adds the perfect amount of shine, and leaves it light and smelling great. i highly reccomend it!

Poofy hair problems.?

Don't blow dry it. It sound to me like you have wavy and/or curly hair. Visit naturallycurly.com and read the book "Curly Girl"

Poofy hair problems.?

I hate putting products in my hair so this is what I do. I'm not sure how you blowdry your hair but always blowdry it straight with a brush. This will help a lot on the poofiness if you are using nothing. Also invest in a CHI flat iron. This is the best thing ever invented!!! They are a little pricey so if you don't want to fork out the money for that go to Sally's Beauty supply. If you don't have one of these near you go to any beauty supply store, not Walmart. Make sure you get a flat iron that is ceramic not metal. It won't damage your hair and makes it very smooth and flat.

Poofy hair problems.?

You can use many different products but which ever you use, you should use a difusser on the end of your hair dryer. This will help but also a leave in spray conditioner will tone down the poof

Poofy hair problems.?

ya you could first of all let it air dry w/ some gel or mousse in it and where it curly. or if you want it blown out you can get smoothing lotion or anti-friz serum that can be smoothed over your hair after you dry it. There's tons of stuff at the stores. Look for something that says anti-humidity.

Poofy hair problems.?

After washed use Clinique hair care -shaping wax is good!

Poofy hair problems.?

i just spent few extra bucks for ceramic wand hair dryer, works wonders,no more poof for me, its a round curler brush type that you can use for straight , curls or what ever, well worth the purchase, also found a great product at hair salon called, AG varnish, smoothing polish, never have found anything better for my mop..if you can't do that, and must blow dry use low setting and don't dry the top. hope it helps

Poofy hair problems.?

try straitening it if you want it strait, it helps so much! if you want your hair curly, try john Frieda products to curl and reduce frizz. You might want to stop blowdrying and just let it dry naturally. Check out this website for more info:

http://johnfrieda.com/

Poofy hair problems.?

yea that got a grease called liv it lasts for weeks n ur hair.and keeps it nice %26amp; straight.

Poofy hair problems.?

leave in some conditioner after u shower.....dont blow dry...its murder for ur hair...let it dry naturally...use a frizz control lotion 4 hair....

Professional hair salon in Lansing Michigan area?

It's finally time to go get my hair cut again, and I'm ready to get that much shorter hairstyle I've been afraid to get at the cheap salons I normally go to. I want to go to a professional salon where I don't have to hear "oops" or feel totally disappointed at the job the stylist did with my hair. If I get it cut as short as I want it, I wont have the option to go somewhere else and have them try to fix it. It doesn't have to be a real big upscale salon or anything just one with a younger crowd who know what the hell kind of haircut I want done. Any ideas?

Professional hair salon in Lansing Michigan area?

sorry only know an awesome one in Commerce Twp MI.

My brother in law owns it and they're pretty fantastic.

If you want I can send him an email and ask him if he knows of any good ones in your area.

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

i have medium length blonde curly hair with big blue eyes. I always have a tan. Any advice on good mak-up products?

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

Okay...i am the same as you...i usually put on a light coat of foundation and then bronzer, and then mascara on my top and bottom lashes. Then i put black PRESTIGE eyeliner on the upper rim of my eyelid...weird, but it works.

Good luck! It will make ur eyes look bluer and bigger!

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

try like sparkly colors that blend with your skin or nice shades of gold

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

light pink lipstick and soft eye shadow

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

stay in the cool colour tones and stay away from warm tones. Also stay out of the sun for so long. That will age you to the point where cosmetics become obsolete.

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

Pink

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

i think like tans like nothing like a bright blue maybe a light brown and like pastel colors and not to much (match with what Ur wearing) cosmetologist

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

i like purple and brown together. or pink and brown for eye shadow! I like dark red with a little purple for blush too.

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

Well, grey, blues and greens would look good on you. Also maybe a nude (same color as your skin) shimmer powder, you can us it for everything, on your eyes, cheeks, and your body.

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

try dark-bold colors like red, purple, and green and black.....lmao just playing.... light colors like pink and peach looks great on pale or tan skin

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

Go for the smokey eyed look.

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

brown tones

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

The web sites below have some great information. If you are young you can experiment with some shimmers and golds. If you are "young at heart" I would think browns and nuetrals would be the best. No one likes to see a thick mask of dark make-up.

Good luck!

I use and recommend Bare Minerals. It's the best! My skin used to break out all of the time, now that I've switched, it doesn't at all. It also covers great! http://www.bareescentuals.com/. You can also get the MD Formulations skin care line there. Its all I use!

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

blue eye shadow!

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

blue, brownish shades and try not to use very dark shades!

Whjat make-up colors would look good with blonde hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin?

Here's a Few Tips (I have tanned skin, blonde hair and blue eyes)

- Anything but Blue or Pink Eyeshadow

- No black mascara or eyeliner (even though youre tanned it does not look good with blue eyes....Try Brown instead.

- Pink Glossy Lips looks Great on Blondes

- Try Peachy Blush since you have tanned skin (not pink)

Hope this helps ya out! :)

Did my hair stylist cross the line?

Today when getting my hair done together with a friend, we were joking around but my hair stylist took it a bit far I think, she sprayed some styling gel on me as a joke. It got on my diamond ring and in my coffee cup which I'm sure wasn't intended but all the same, it was kinda taking it a big far don't you think? We were all joking in conversation about this particular product and I said I didn't like it, she did and then she did that to me. I was angry/upset but let it go. Still I wonder if I was wrong to say I was upset or if I should have just laughed it off. Thing is; I don't want that kind of thing to happen again.... your thoughts?

Did my hair stylist cross the line?

Regardless of what I think - you have two options here

1) Get over it

2) Get a new hairdresser

Coz telling her, means she'll be annoyed at you - and I doubt you'll have a good haircut after that

Did my hair stylist cross the line?

I wouldn't be too upset about it.

Big Thick Curly Frizzy Brown Hair............HELP?

I have shoulder length hair (a bit shorter then shoulder length) and I can't do anything with it i just got i tcut and it is too short to put in a pony tail. my hair is really thick curly and frizzy. When i curl my hair is goes really big and wehn i straighten my hair i like it for about 10 minutes and then it just starts to get big and wavy again i can't do anything with it i need help so can you please give me some tips i have had this hair my whole life and i still cannot find a thing to do with it....HELP

Big Thick Curly Frizzy Brown Hair............HELP?

put gel in it when you straighten it, or maybe even get it relaxed, but its kinda expensive.

Big Thick Curly Frizzy Brown Hair............HELP?

I have a friend who has very curly and frizzy red hair. She has had to learn to work with the texture of her hair instead of against it. After she takes a shower (in which she makes sure to condition her hair!), she uses her fingers to part her hair on the side she wants and 'finger-comb' the rest of her hair. She does not brush her hair except right before getting in the shower. Immediately after finger-combing her hair, she applies Garnier Fructis Surf Hair (when her hair is still soaking wet). She then lets her hair air day. As long as she hasn't put too much of the Garnier Fructis Surf Hair in her hair, her hair dries curly but not crunchy; most of the time you can't even tell she has product in her hair when it is dry. Whenever she tries to straighten her hair, it almost immediately starts reverting back to its natural way, as well. I recommend accepting the fact that you have naturally curly hair and not trying to change it. You might not appreciate it yet, but I'm sure someday you will! =)

Big Thick Curly Frizzy Brown Hair............HELP?

- Shampoo your hair 3 times a week. If you shampoo it too often, it'll dry your hair out and cause frizz.

- Condition your hair daily.

- Grow your hair out long; The length will weigh your hair down, making it less frizzy %26amp; big.

- Do NOT brush your hair!!!; Use a wide-tooth comb instead.

- Don't touch your hair after you finish styling it; It will cause frizz.

- This is how to style your hair:

1. Apply leave-in conditioner to hair.

2. Apply an anti-frizz serum (Garnier Sleek %26amp; Shine Anti-Frizz Serum is really good)

3. Use an extra-strength mousse (it helps to control hair better)

4. Use a gel (Even more frizz control =])

5. Apply hairspray

- Another suggestion would be to have your hair chemically straightened, but it can be damaging %26amp; expensive.

Big Thick Curly Frizzy Brown Hair............HELP?

I have the same problem... Ridiculously thick hair sucks.

lol.

What i do is in the shower (AFTER conditioning it), I comb it through with a strong, but fine toothed comb (to seperate the curls, they look neater and more defined... it works, trust me.)

When i'm out of the shower, I wrap my hair up in a towel, and then I use 3 squirts of this stuff:

http://tigihaircare.us/tigi/catwalk/arch...

(Without a comb.... I just rub it around on my hands and then spread it all the way through my hair... beneath and on top. It's hard to show you exactly what i do. but make sure you get it all the way to the tips.

Oh...

I only wash it once or twice a week...More if i'm swimming, But when I do I use the shampoo on this page...

http://redken.com/products/displayBrand....

I use the 'butter treat' cream every day in place of a conditioner. It works the same, does the same thing, but is thicker and better for curls.

When i'm done with that, I put in a headband (thick, hard) sort of like these, except much less expensive:

http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/category.jh...

And then i fluff it up along the sides a little,

Leaving the front portion of my hair out like bangs. :)

Oh I guess i part it on the side, aswell... I know that sounds crazy... Youd think it poof up alot, but it doesn't. I always get compliments on how controlled my hair looks for tight greek or african - like curls.

Does any one know a way to get your hair BIG like in the eighties??

im trying to find a look thats me before school starts. And i loooove the eighties. i think it would be nice to know how they did it.

Does any one know a way to get your hair BIG like in the eighties??

After blowdrying your hair "normally"...flip your head upside down and spray it with "Aquanet" (or any cheap hairspray)... Another trick...use a curling iron...use the cheap hairspray while it's still "curling" on the wand...then run a pick through it to break up the "solid" curls... Good luck!!

(Invest in cases of Aquanet...that's how we survived the 80's!!)

Does any one know a way to get your hair BIG like in the eighties??

Since I had big 80's hair I will tell you the two secrets - Aqua Net Hair Spray and a curling iron. Tease, tease, tease!!!

Does any one know a way to get your hair BIG like in the eighties??

a blow dryer and hairspray and a good comb should do it and a curler like the last answer said... aqua net was the best 80s hairspray ever.. use aerosol.

Does any one know a way to get your hair BIG like in the eighties??

I always used hot rollers and lots of hair spray back then.

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

My damn hair gets like biggish when it dries. I mean like, It doesn't get curly or anything it just kinda gets poofy.

Is there something that I can put in my hair like a shampoo or something that can make it like flatter, like when it is wet it is flat and I like it like that but the big is just crap.

I have kind of like a square-ish head (an ugly one XD) and if my hair is flatter then I look less square.

Any help ? thanks

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

Yeah, a straightener will work for you, but don't go out buying those cheap metal ones, as they only damage your hair and don't look as good afterwards, if the one you mom has is a ceramic one, go ahead and use it, it's simple, just divide in about 4 parts of hair and clip them so they stay apart. Straighten only a small portion of hair at a time, to make sure all of it is straight. It's really easy just brush the hair and put it between the 2 things of the straightener (whichs name Idk) , close %26amp; slide, if it still looks curly do it again... when you're done you will look emo-ish, the way you like it

A straightener heating time varies, the good ones take around 20-30 seconds to heat up, the cheap ones, I don't know so much 'cause mine is a 60 buck one lol, but it works pretty good... Mine's this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EODWUC?smid... only that it's a little wider.

Also, you might want to use an anti-frizz cream or a special cream that is used for blow-drying, straightening, etc. to protect your hair from the heat.

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

the only thing you can do to make your hair lay flat is to straighten it with a flat iron. and alot of guys use them now so dont think its gay or anything like that. as far as product try paul mitchell super skinny serum. i too have poofy hair and put that in b 4 i style and it help.. good luck

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

straighten it???

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

well a hair straightner always works

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

You are so cute. Lol just thought like sayin that. But anyway use like an anti-frizz serum. You can get it anywhere for under 10 bucks. Or try straightening your hair a bit.

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

Yes, a straightening iron works wonders!! My sons girlfriend uses one and it works great!!!!

As far as hair straightener they mean a hair relaxer that you would have to have a hair dresser do for you.

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

it's the way you blow your hair that will make it flat. If you don't blow your hair then start. use a large round brush

don't put the brush under the hair, the brush is on top of the

hair and brush and gently pull as your blowing it

How can I make my hair a bit flatter ?

You'd want to apply a straightening product to your hair after washing (John Freida makes some good ones), i would then blow it dry and then flat iron it.
