I had bleach blond hair then dyed it black!been using dark semi permanent while grow out but want go

Had white bleached hair, decided to dye it black with a permament hair dye (big mistake), have been covering it witha semi permanent dark hair dye while permanent is growing out.

Have to decided to let the semi wash out but now looks a mish mash of black, brown and grey. Yuk! would like to to a very light brown or darker blonde. Thinking of using a hair stripper?

Also have read many horror stories of green hair . Am very confused.

You can always try and go lighter, but never back to the way it was.

leave it alone now! let it grow out before it turns green or purple and falls out.

Sorry to say but you have wrecked it. Cut all your hair off and start again. Always go for the semi permanent if you want to go any shade darker. I did a permanent black and ended up with a short spike, it's been six months and I can now tie it up in a tiny ponytail so it's not the end of the world.

DO NOT attempt to do anything else to your hair by yourself. Go and seek advice from a professional hairdresser as to if you hair is in any condition to take anymore chemical processess. It might be in a state where one more chemical process could result in your hair snapping off. Im a hairdresser ..I have witnessed that happening in cases like yours before
