i dyed my hair almost black ( naturally brown) with permanent dye a month ago and its lightened up a lot and i want to dye it again, but i would be real bumed if it started falling out in big chunks er something. do u think its ok to dye it the same color again so soon? i also got it dyed for the first time (semi permanently) right after thanksgivingm (appx 2-3 months ago)

dying it darker wont cause this. It is when you bleech your hair and are going a lighter colour, it strips your hair which is damaging. Dying it darker is adding colour, so it is not as bad at all, go for it :)

I dyed my hair monthly for 15 years using Miss Clairol and my hair was fine with it (and I even have fine hair). So I think you should be fine. I even did "all over" color, not just the roots (because I kept missing spots and THAT, my dear, looks ridiculous!). If you are having it done at a salon, all the better. I'm sure they are taking good care of your hair.

You are better off using a deposit only color so that you don't keep damaging your hair. Eventually it will not look so good or even break. Also if you keep going over it all with permanent color it will get darker and darker on the previosly colored hair. You could also try going to a place where you can by the color and developer seperate like Sally beauty supply that way you can buy a lower volume. 10 would work fine.

its better to do a low light then doing bleach. bleach is alot harder on your hair then doing a darker color. You should be fine. As long as your not overworking your hair so much: example; perm,heat

It's ok if it's professionally done, they use dyes that are healthier for your hair, it won't start falling out or anything. If you use the cheaper dyes in the stores you risk having more problems as they're pretty rough and damaging. Make sure you use good conditioners, your hair will lighten very easily if you're in the sun or go tanning etc so if you do, wear a hat and you'll have to do this less frequently.

yes it is ok to go and color yo hair the wait time is 4 to 6 weeks and just put in the same one it will be fine.Keep yo hair washed and oil...
