Hair Help!?

I would loooveee to learn how you do that 'poof' thing with your hair...something like this:

Yeah. Uhh...I've been through about 100000 sites and none of them have been very good. Some sites show how to do it, but it's too BIG AND POOFY..and other sites don't even HAVE PICTURES! I want it to be basically the same thing as the one above. Not too big, but something you can notice.

omg thats so werid, i have my hair like that today! i LOVE that hair style! and look at my avatar! thats the hairstyle!! good thing you asked! its actually really simple

here, ill give u steps:

1) keep your hair down and take the amount you want "poofed" in a separate elastic

2) take your clip, looks a little something like this,

or something of your own style that is like that one, and clip the hair that you put in the elastic ( ovbouisly take the elastic out ) and then vwala! ( i dont know how to spell that lol ) your 2 steps away from looking like the girl in your picture!

3) take your elastic and put it up in a medium, high, or low pony tail ( id prefer the medium one, but thats me)

4) take the barrette that is in your hair already and push it up as far as you would like it. this makes the hair in the front "poofy" as you call it lol.

you can't see the pic too well but how about taking a loose small bit of hair near to the forehead twisting it and pushing it forward clip it in place and style the rest however you like maybe a bun or a pony tail

first you grab a little piece of your hair in the front or how ever much u want in your poof. Then you put it down so it is in your face. then you flip it up into a poof and use bobby pins to keep it in place. now you have a POOF!
